Every obtained vote from the peers allows for a recommendation rate to be calculated for every school in the Eduniversal Official Selection. Thus, this survey produces a rating which highlights the local, regional and global recognition of the business schools according to the feedback from different stakeholders in the field of Higher Education.
The results of these ratings are then taken into account and considered as one of the numerous qualitative and quantitative criteria used in the Eduniversal’s methodology.
For EES, the Dean/Director is the key person of every Business School, a strongly involved actor with a constructive and rich vision on the field of Higher Education. He is concerned at the same time by the academic issues and has a long-term vision on the sustainable development of the institution he is in charge. According to EES, he is the most indicated and authorized person on behalf of his team to share the valuable experience and to express a professional point of view on the dynamics and the current events in the world of the Higher Education. Key elements of the Deans’ Voting process:
1. Who and How?
- The Dean/ Director of the Institution is the only person allowed to report the votes in the name of his Institution. If the Dean/Director wants to delegate the vote to one of his/her collaborator, please send the request by email to Marie-Jose SUEIRO (marie-jose.sueiro@eduniversal.com) or Thierry Driver (thierry.driver@eduniversal.com) with the detailed information on the delegated voting person (name, surname, position and email address).
- In order to access to the Deans’ Voting platform, use your login and password. When the voting session opens, each dean receive his login and his password by email at his personal address.
- Each dean will be able to give their school’s recommendation – country by country. Countries are presented in alphabetical order. Your country will be the last one in the list in the voting process (after Zimbabwe).
- Your votes are considered once 153 countries of the Eduniversal System are examined.
- You can select up to 50% of the schools for each country.
If you don’t know or if you don’t want to recommend any school in the country, mark “no, I don’t have recommendation for this country” and the next country will appear on the screen. - Your own Institution will not appear in the list of your country, as the Dean is not allowed to vote for his own Institution.
If needed, you can download the list of the 1,000 Business Schools selected in the Eduniversal Official System and prepare the recommendations of your Institution.
The Deans’ Vote results will be disclosed officially at the Eduniversal World Convention 2012, in Latin America and published on www.eduniversal-ranking.com
